Protocol Droid C-3PO finds himself aboard the Tantive IV an assaulted Rebel blockade runner with his astromech counterpart, R2-D2. On a mission with Leia Organa, he and Artoo manage to escape and land on planet Tatooine, where Threepio, all memory of the past erased, finds himself back at the Lars moisture farm, the place of his manufacture by Anakin Skywalker. Now aiding Anakin's son Luke, both Droids embark on a mission to rescue Princess Leia Organa and challenge the Empire's dreaded Death Star.
