Logray is the head shaman for the Bright Tree Village tribe of Ewoks. He wears a distinctive headdress made from the skull of a large churi bird. When the captured members of the rebel strike team are brought to the village, Logray orders that Han, Luke, Chewbacca, and R2-D2 be cooked alive as a ritual sacrifice to "the Golden One," the shining protocol droid C-3PO, whom the Ewoks revere as a legendary deity.
