Spiritual leader and director of Dathomir's infamous Nightsisters during the Clone Wars, Mother Talzin sold their services to any and all interested parties. She understandably sought vengeance against Count Dooku and especially Darth Sidious, who had seriously betrayed her. After reneging on a promise to make Talzin his second-in-command, he wound up stealing her child, Darth Maul, as his apprentice of choice.
