Hailing from the planet Castell, Shu Mai was the Presidente of the Commerce Guild and used the power of that position to gain a seat on the Separatist Council. Mai was one of the many who secretly pledged allegiance to Count Dooku and his agenda just before the Clone Wars began. Ironically, this connection on the Council led directly to her execution on Mustafar by the recently-emerged Darth Vader.
